Dry skin is my perennial problem.  My skin literally turns to white because of extreme dryness.  I tried to remedy it by putting on lotion but it wasn’t effective.  Good thing I found out a skin moisturizer by Avon that was effective.  What I do is as soon as I step out of the shower and after wiping the excess water off I rub on my skin moisturizer right away.  Now, I notice my skin does not turn white anymore like it used to.  I also feel that my skin is softer now.  Taking care of our skin is a must because dry skin is the first sign of aging.  So moisturizer your skin every day and drink lots of water to have healthy skin.

We’re really short of bed space.  We gave up our queen-size bed in favor of a double deck bed thinking that our son would sleep there.  And how wrong we were!  It’s been four months since the three of us have been sleeping side by side in the lower bunk.  We have talked to our son but he said he will sleep in the top bunk once his baby brother is born.  We’re doubtful that will happen. To remedy the situation, we’re thinking of buying two double beds that we can put side-by-side so we’ll have room for the four of us.  If our first born doesn’t hold true to is promise then I guess that’s our option.

I was lucky not to suffer any acne growing up.  Others are not as lucky though.  I remember my high school friend suffered from this while we were studying.  You can see how self conscious he was with his face.  He did everything to have it cured, religiously going to his derma.  But this skin problem is so persistent that even with medication it took years before the acne disappeared.  Now, he is quite successful but you can still see his acne marks in his face.  He was able to beat acne but the scars remained.

Time really flies fast!  I made my first blog a few months before my son was born.  No one really thought me.  I just liked reading blogs.  I was hesitant to create my first blog because I was afraid someone will read it but because I really like documenting my life pretty soon I created my first.  Sadly, I lost that one.  I can’t remember its address anymore.

Fast forward five years later, I am now maintaining 10 blogs!  I write about all kinds of things, still documenting our life as a family, and most important of all, I earn doing the thing I love.  I am so grateful for this opportunity and I still can’t believe how lucky I am to be able to stay at home and at the same time help my husband in our finances.  I don’t know until when I am going to do this but as long as opportunities come our way I will not give up blogging.

My mom is finally blogging!  I can’t believe we’re both sharing the same interests but we really are mother-daughter.  I guess the saying is right, pretty soon we are going to turn into our mothers – or in this case, my mother turned into me. hahaha

So now she not only has one blog but three!  I admit I almost gave up because she has so many questions which I had to answer through chat.  She wouldn’t read my answer patiently but would ask again and again.  Not once or twice did I have to point to her that I already answered that particular question had she just read carefully what I typed.

Three months later, all my work paid off because she now knows how to create her own blog, buy her own domain, and even change templates.  She doesn’t bother me anymore with her endless questions which is a great relief to me. hehe

Anyway, I’m really happy for my mom.  She now has a new hobby and we’re just a chat away if she needs to talk to us.
