Posing as friends, innocent young people are victimized by the evil schemes of these evildoers just to take advantage of their innocence. My morning breakfast would not be complete without it. Just inhaling the aromatic flavor of coffee can wake my senses up, hehehehe…Well it’s true! It’s not at all an addiction but just a liking to the effect of coffee after enjoying a cup of it (I drink not more than two cups a day). I feel energized and ready for the day. The downside of it are: coffee can be addictive, a stimulant and a mood changer when taken in excess (just to emphasize again, I only take not more than two cups a day). To balance it, with the many benefits of coffee to your health, one must be responsible enough to take it in moderation. But don’t forget to eat a healthy diet, have a regular exercise and enjoy life.

Hear the bells ringing and the music playing and you’ll feel  Christmas in the air. The months that ends with “BER” is also the start of the Christmas season here in the Philippines. It is said that Christmas celebration here is the longest in the whole world. Yes, you’ll begin to feel it as eraly as the month of September. Christmas jingles are played on radios, T.V. commercials with Christmas promos are aired already. And you can see Christmas decors displayed in Department stores. People will begin to make a list of what they’re going to buy and grab any store sales for cheaper items to be included in their gifts (pasalubong). Children too are getting excited looking forward to the vacation, the parties and the gifts they will receive.
 
Simple joys of spending a quality time with our love ones is what I’m looking forward during these day. Christmas is one special occasion in doing it. Yes, Christmas in everywhere and we must not forget that it can be celebrated everyday too.  We must not forget the real essence of it as we remember to share love even to those who don’t deserve it. Yes…loving, forgiving, and sharing are important ingredients of life we all must use in order for Christmas to be so real everyday in our lives

It’s one of the more popular saying of our National hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. It’s really worth a serious thought as we look at the trends going on among the young generation today. Drug Addiction, pre-marital sex, pornography, alcoholism, teen pregnancy, teen suicide, juvinile delinquency, vices, rebellion and many more are evils in the society that’s affecting a large number of our young people today. You see it from T.V., read it from newspapers and magazines, hear it from radios the growing problem the society is facing today with regards to the moral decline and degredation this generation suffers.
 
If we want to see the dawning of a new beginning of our nation, then we must do something to preserve our  of youth today, now! The family must be united in fighting these maladies that are eating the future of our society. The community must do its responsibilities to be an active agent of change, supporting activities that promote principled leadership among the youth, and empower them to be bold in their standard of saying “NO!” to anything that poses a danger to their dreams and aspirations. The government too must be a stalwart of integrity, honesty and change so our society can be assured that we are preserving the future and the hope of our motherland. Let’s join hands and work together to realize all these.
