We recently got out iPad and of course my son and I were excited to try out the various games that the iPad can offer. The main purpose of getting an iPad is for easier email and browsing access for work – but we sure will also use it’s entertainment features like movies and games. We just tried out the game Real Racing 2 HD and we were both wowed by the nice graphics and the smooth frames. Tilting the huge iPad as a steering wheel is a bit concerning – my son might drop the iPad that way, but everything was nice. Even the custom rims of each cars were very detailed! Anyway I’ll get back to enjoying the iPad 2 for now.

One of our plans for our house renovation is to have our very own small garden, it is not high in the priority list but we will eventually have one. I just want to see something green in the morning when I wake up. We want to fill it up with flower bearing plants, and maybe a nice tree that my sons will watch grow. Maybe get a garden swing like the swing set installation connecticut samples. We also want to have a small fountain beside a bench, where I can just hangout and play my guitar! Hopefully when the renovation starts this would fit the budget.

Finally the day of reckoning has come! I spent my last day at work with my team. First they surprised me with food, and then presented to me a nice gift. After eating lunch, we then headed out for a few drinks and some videoke singing. We all enjoyed each others’ company, singing favorite tunes, laughing at jokes and gags – like boys doing some funny dancing ala dance zumba and ofcourse we said our goodbyes. We tried our best not to be sad, and was mostly successful but then sadness filled the place when goodbyes where said. I tried my best to be strong and not show how sad I am, just to help my team cope up with me leaving and the changes that will take place. However while driving home, I couldn’t help but feel sad and depressed – even while writing this article! Still I know all of this things are meant for the best, not just for me and my family, but for my team – rather former team – as well. I hate farewells.

I’ve only been driving a couple of years – but my vocabulary of car maintenance and things that could go wrong is ever growing. Sadly not through education or reading but actual problems! Just a few days ago, while we were driving off to buy my wife’s laptop, we encountered another car trouble. A commuter pointed at the bottom front of my car – at first I thought there was a problem with the bumper, but when I stopped the car to check, I saw a lot of coolant dripping from under the car and flowing on the street! I immediately parked the car at a nearby gas station and checked on what is going on.

After asking around and looking at the drip, I realized that there is a problem with either the radiator or the lower radiator hose. So what I did was I replaced the water of the car – enough so we could make it home. Conditions got better when I noticed that the drip was not that bad when the Aircon is turned off. So we still made it home and was able to buy the laptop. Then I had it checked by a specialist and they figured it was the lower radiator hose that is causing the leak. I looked for parts in nearby auto supply stores and online sites like polaris sportsman parts. Finally I was able to get the part I needed and the problem was promptly solved. Thank God!

Around 3 years ago, we noticed that our son was getting a bit bored – and lonely. Since it was not yet time for our second baby, we thought of getting him a cute pet. And incidentally, there was a pet store just outside of the village that we live in, and we always see the cute Shih Tzu’s that were being sold. So when my sons 4th birthday was coming up, we decided it was time to teach our son about caring and loving someone other than his parents – and so we bought the bounciest among the bunch of puppies. Little did we know that the best pet to get are supposed to be the timid ones! Chewee was so cute but he was too energetic and smart, to the point that it gets annoying. After many sleepless nights and restless days, finally we were able to tame him, and soon a bond was formed between this new pet and our small family. Up to this day he is still as smart, cudly, loving and loyal as ever.
