Everyone has a hobby of some sort, some collect stamps, some collect custom made coins. My wife however seems to be collecting snack recipes and trying them out.

My wife has been trying out a bunch of siesta food recipes and recently she was able to make a great tasting batch of Puto – which is simply a bread made with flour, egg, milk and cheese.

It’s fun when she does these experimental foods, I get to eat some great snacks and the kids also enjoy because they help out their mom with the preparations.

My wife and I are so fond of Japanese food, it is our top priority when choosing to dine out. Our all time favorite is the shrimp tempura – specially if it is done properly – perfectly crispy and matched with a great tasting tempura sauce.

Tokyo Tokyo is one of our favorite, mostly because it is relatively affordable and the food are good. At times we do get orders that are not properly done, but they are few and sparse – which keeps us loyal to them. Another issue I have is that some do not strictly implement their no smoking policy, I don’t care if you smoke macanudo cigar or cheap cigarettes – as long as your second hand smoke does not get anywhere close to me or my family.

Aside from that, the food is great and we enjoy our time eating out.

My morning breakfast would not be complete without it. Just inhaling the aromatic flavor of coffee can wake my senses up, hehehehe…Well it’s true! It’s not at all an addiction but just a liking to the effect of coffee after enjoying a cup of it (I drink not more than two cups a day). I feel energized and ready for the day. The downside of it are: coffee can be addictive, a stimulant and a mood changer when taken in excess (just to emphasize again, I only take not more than two cups a day). Large amount to it can have a negative effect on blood sugar levels that affect your fat burning capacity and could change to storing fat in your body. Too much coffee can overtime stain your teeth. To balance it, with the many benefits of coffee to your health, one must be responsible enough to take it in moderation. But don’t forget to eat a healthy diet, have a regular exercise and enjoy life.
