I finally upgraded to Windows 8 Pro. It wasn’t easy with all the hassles of finding working drivers, but after experiencing how fast and fluid Windows 8 is, it is well worth it.
The release of Windows 8 is just around the corner, and I’m already thinking of upgrading my operating system from 7 to 8. Not that there’s anything wrong with Windows 7, in fact I’m quite pleased with my laptop, I use it everyday for more than 8 hours and I only had to restore my laptop to a previous date once to fix a trivial issue.
My main concern is how to make my computer faster without it heating too much. I’ll first wait for feedback regarding compatibility and the like before getting the update.
Ever since we experienced first hand the fury of a supposedly weak storm – that is Ondoy – I have paid extra attention to storms. Be they small, or big, weak or strong, far or near, I always keep a watchful eye and pray that they don’t wreck as much havoc. To do this I usually check the satellite images from here:
My mother recently gave me the old watch of my pops. I’ve never been a fan of expensive TAG Heuer watches because I feel that it will just be an expensive thief magnet. I prefer wearing cheap watches that I know will not attract the attention of muggers.
However after wearing it for a while, I began to appreciate its superb quality compared to my cheap watches. It’s great to look at and absolutely reliable. It’s been a year now and I’ve never worn anything else since I got it. I however choose to not wear it if in case I need to commute or go places where robbery is rampant.
After 5 long years of service, our current mobile phones are still surprisingly serving us well. My wife and I have Sony Ericcson brand mobile phones – Mine is a walkman phone W810, and the other one is a K800i. They both still work for text and calls, the only issue we have with it is its lower than usual battery life, but they are still usable.
I could go so far as calling my phone a Super phone!
Lately however, we are contemplating on getting a newer phone with touch screen interface and internet capability. The new phone will work as an internet browser and a phone so we can use it for our online work.
